WHITBY MAN CHARGED WITH STUNT DRIVING ON HWY 60

A stunt driving charge was laid against a 20 year old Whitby man on June 15 after he was allegedly caught driving at a very high rate of speed on Highway 60 in Algonquin Park.

TWO VALLEY HOSPICES GET PROVINCIAL MONEY

Hospices in the Champlain Region are receiving $2.8 million over the next three years from the Ontario Government - and two hospices in the valley will see some of that cash. The Hospice Renfrew will receive $90,000 - and Madawaska Valley Hospice will see $30,000.
