Fentanyl is troubling. Ignoring the problem could be deadly. The Renfrew County and District Health Unit will be hosting three information sessions on the opiod crisis. All of the events run from 6:30pm to 9pm. They will be held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week. The first is April 25th at Madawaska Valley District High School in Barry's Bay. That will be followed by a session Wednesday April 26th at St. Joseph's Catholic High School in Renfrew, and April 27th, at Bishop Smith Catholic High School in Pembroke. The format for the gatherings includes a guest speaker, panel of experts, and a question period. For more information, you can also visit www.rcdhu.com or call the Renfrew County and District Health Unit Health Info Line at 1-800-267-1097 Ext. 666 to speak with a nurse.
