COUNTY PREPARING FOR NOXIOUS WEED SEASON
4/19/2017 6:56:37 AM

As we gear up for weed season, the Renfrew County Integrated Pest Management Plan is ready for county council's seal of approval. Over the years, there has been a growing concern regarding dangerous plants spotted in some areas that can cause your skin to burn if touched. Weed Inspector for Renfrew County, Jason Davis was on the team who put the plan together for council to review. He gives us a taste of what the plan touches on.

Davis also says that some of these plants have been spreading across the county and now is a good time to stop them in their tracks before the situation gets worse. The plan will come to the next county council meeting for approval.
