FLOOD WARNING FOR RENFREW COUNTY REMAINS IN EFFECT
4/19/2017 7:17:28 AM

The Pembroke District of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry reminds residents that a flood warning is still in effect for Renfrew County. Water levels on large lakes and rivers have not yet peaked and continue to rise. Factors affecting levels are saturated ground, and the continued presence of ice and snow in the bush, plus significant rainfall in the forecast. Any residents with flooding concerns should take appropriate action to protect their property, including calling their local municipality to secure sandbags or other assistance. The warning will expire Friday at 5:00pm.
