SALVATION ARMY HELPING FLOOD VICTIMS IN OTTAWA VALLEY
5/15/2017 10:36:52 AM

With many areas of the Ottawa Valley facing flooding, the Salvation Army has stepped up to help.

The director of public relations and development for the Ottawa region, Glenn van Gulik says they not only have volunteers on the ground in four affected areas but they're also providing meals and emotional support.

Van Gulik added that they've been handing out vouchers for people to replace clothing or furniture that was damaged by the flood at any Salvation Army store.

The Salvation Army is accepting donations to help with flood relief online and over the phone at 1-800-SAL-ARMY.
