RENFREW COUNCILLOR SUFFERS DAMAGE TO SPINAL CHORD AFTER FALL

He's a big man with an even bigger heart and he's always been there for his community. But now Renfrew Councillor Tom Sidney needs your support. Sidney suffered damage to his spinal cord following a fall last Friday and now has little to no mobility in his arms and legs. The circumstances surrounding his accident are not known but his sister-in-law Emily Drew confirms he has a condition which causes a neurological deficit that makes him prone to falls. Sidney is currently in the ICU and from there will need to undergo rehabilitation, a process that could leave him in the hospital for months. Drew has created a gofundmepage to help alleviate the financial pressure on the family. Money raised will help with travel expenses, medical bills, and other living expences for Sidney, who is also the Clinic Supervisor for the Robbie Dean Family Counselling Centre. If you wish to make a contribution, a link to Drew's gofundmepage can be found here: here
