A PROFIT IN YEAR ONE: WHITEWATER THRILLED WITH STREETSTRUT
9/8/2017 9:23:43 AM

This summer's Whitewater Street Strut was a huge success. That's what was discussed at Wednesday night's (Sept 6) Whitewater Region council meeting. Councillor Chris Olmstead spearheaded the event, and he says it was intended to be a break even event, so the fact theat they made money is incredible. There was a profit of $9,136 and it was decided that $3,000 will go to the Muskrat Watershed Council, $500 will go to Muskrat Minor Hockey and another $500 would go to the Cobden Civitan Club. The remaining $5,000 will be held onto to help with next year's costs.
