9/8/2017 2:02:08 PM

The man charged in the brutal murders of three women in Renfrew County two years ago will not go to trial until October. Basil Borutski's trial was set to begin on September 18th, but CBC is reporting the date has been pushed back to October 2nd. That's the day Borutski will face a judge and jury in Ottawa on three counts of first-degree murder. The 58 year old is charged in the killings of 36 year old Anastasia Kuzyk, 48 year old Nathalie Warmerdam, and 66 year old Carol Culleton. The women were killed at three different locations in the county on Sept. 22nd, 2015. The trial is set to run 16 weeks. Borutski has so far not entered a plea and has not retained a lawyer, so a representative has been appointed for him.
