HEAD, CLARA AND MARIA RESIDENTS TO GATHER TO DISCUSS TRAIL
9/8/2017 4:37:19 PM

The United Townships of Head, Clara and Maria is hosting a public meeting this Saturday. Starting at 1 p.m. council will be meeting with community members to discuss the Algonquin Trail. Back in 2010, HCM council unanimously voted against the county buying the CP Rail Corridor. Now that it has been deemed multi-purpose by the county, Head, Clara and Maria wants its community members to feel comfortable and have their questions answered. Topics like how it will effect the economy, the link to the Trans-Canada Trail, costs to ratepayers and more will be discussed. The meeting will be held at the Stonecliffe Community Centre.
