AGRICULTURE SHOWS, LIGHTHOUSE HIGHLIGHT RENFREW FAIR SATURDAY

The Renfrew Fair continues this weekend. The animals kick things off Saturday with the Light Horse Show, Clydesdale, Percheron and Commercial Horse Show as well as the Renfrew 4-H Beef Club Achievement Show all getting underway at 9AM. Exhibits can be viewed in the Armouries and Exhibit Hall starting at 10, while the Bonnechere Valley 4H Club presents its Achievement Show, commencing 10:30AM. The popular Carter Shows Midway and Little Ray's Reptiles debut for the day at 11. The Midway is easy to find; Ray's Reptiles are on the Red Stage. Noon sees the Steer Show begin, followed by the Hereford and Limousin event at 12:30, with the 4H Interclub Beef Competition is also over the lunch hour. Equine fans will revel in the Heavy Horse Show - featuring the North American Six-Horse Hitch Classic starting at 1PM as does local entertainment at the grandstand. Little Ray's Reptiles have three afternoon performances on the Red Stage, at 1:30, 3:45 and 5:00PM. The Beer Gardens open at 2. You can participate in the Steer, Hog and Lamb Sale in the Cattle Ring beginning at 6:30-- while headline act Lighthouse begins their performance at 8:00 PM at the Grandstand. Sunday's events run from 9AM to Fair Closing at 5PM, and details are available on our website.
