GARRISON PETAWAWA LAUNCHES UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN
9/12/2017 2:02:48 PM

The 2017-2018 Garrison United Way campaign is officially underway. The annual pancake breakfast helped to officially launch the campaign this morning. Although the campaign technically just started, the proceeds from the Iron Man competition that took place at Garrison over the weekend will also be going to the United Way Campaign. Pat Lafreniere is the Regional Director for the Renfrew County United Way, and she says the Garrison campaign will help select local charities.

The Garrison's goal for this year is $65,000 which will be raised by the units through beard growing contests, bake sales, dress down Friday's and other activities.
