While the Renfrew Junior Timberwolves have taken some much needed time off to regroup after the loss of two of their teammates, a return to the ice following the loss of teammates Brandon Hanniman and Alex Paquette is inevitable. That moment comes Friday night at Ma-te-way as the club pits a short bench against the Alexandria Glens at 8PM. The house will be packed to the rafters, as jersey numbers 88 and 65 are retired pre-maturely.
Before the Timberwolves first practise Tuesday, General Manager Kevin Gould steeled himself for the speech he'd have to make.

Coach Corey Foster concedes he'll eventually have to see if the CCHL will allow him to call up players from Midget ranks, or add an over-ager, but for now he can't think of introducing strangers to the tight-knit unit just to fill the roster-- and the squad will play the game short-handed.

Also missing from the roster when the team laces up is Ben Scheuneman, who remains in critical care and the fourth passenger in the car, Jake McGrimmon, who was not as seriously hurt. The Renfrew Junior Timberwolves return to action at 6-10 on the season, and much heavier at heart.
