RAIN, BLOWING SNOW AND PLUMMETING TEMPERATURES COULD MAKE FOR DANGEROUS ROADS
11/9/2017 7:08:12 AM

We could see some nasty weather this evening. A mixture of rain showers, flurries and gusting winds has prompted Environment Canada to issue a weather statement. They're tracking a cold front expected to sweep over Southern Ontario today, dropping temperatures with scattered rain turning to flurries. With the lowest temperatures so far this fall, minus 14 with a windchill of minus 25 overnight, roadways could become treacherous with ice build up. They're also calling for blowing snow tonight, about 2cm on the way. With the mercury expected to rise slightly over the next few days, it's doubtful the snow will stay. In the meantime, you're reminded to drive with care and adjust your driving style to the winter road conditions.
