Two young men are facing charges after a weekend traffic stop. Killaloe OPP say a car was stopped for speeding on Highway 60 in North Algona Wilberforce Saturday (Dec 2) night when the driver was found to be in breach of recognizance conditions. Officers say they also found marijuana in the vehicle. As a result, 26-year-old Yasin Ibrahim of Ottawa has been charged with two counts of failure to comply with recognizance and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. Ibrahim's passenger, 18-year-old Yousuf Abdillahi of Kanata was also charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
They were both released on a promise to appear in Killaloe court on February 14th.
