STUFF A CRUISER EVENT PROCEEDS BRING CHRISTMAS TO AREA FAMILIES
12/6/2017 8:44:51 AM

Many families in our community will have food in their pantries and gifts under their tree this year thanks to the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Auxiliary. This year's Stuff a Cruser event raised over $3500 in cash as well as roughly $10 000 worth of food and toy donations for local charities. All donations were handed over to the Pembroke branch of the Salvation Army, St. Joseph's food bank in Pembroke and the Petawawa Pantry food bank in Petawawa. Auxiliary members wish to express their gratitude to the community, which continues to support this event year after year and they also send thanks to Discount Car and Truck Rentals for donating the use of a cube van to transport all the toys and food.
