LAURENTIAN HILLS HOME DESTROYED BY FIRE
1/8/2018 10:52:29 AM

No injuries are being reported after a fire ripped through a home in Laurentian Hills Friday night. The blaze broke out around 7pm on Mielkes Road. Reports indicate that the Laurentian Hills Fire Department was joined by firefighters from Deep River and Canadian Nuclear Laboratories who worked together to knock down the fire. The occupants and their dogs were fortunate to have safely escaped their home, however their birds perished in the fire. The home is being deemed a total loss but the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
