1/10/2018 9:58:29 AM

A resident of Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards Township has fallen victim to fraud. Killaloe OPP say they responded to a call on Wilno Road on Friday (Jan 5) where the resident says someone had opened several cell phone accounts in his name. This incident is still under investigation, but OPP are using it as an opportunity to remind residents to be cautious about sharing personal information and to regularly check the activities of all bank accounts. Anyone with information is being asked to call Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers, and if your tips results in charges being laid, you could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
