A Laurentian Hills man is facing charges after police say he stole, and then returned, a pick up truck from a Pembroke hotel. Early yesterday (Wednesday) morning, OPP say they were called to the parking lot of the Holiday Inn on International Drive, where a vehicle that had been left running had just been taken. Within minutes, someone returned the truck to the parking lot and was arrested. 27 year old Michael Robert Jerry Devaney is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over five thousand dollars and theft of a motor vehicle. Police say he also faces outstanding charges of driving while ability imparied by drugs and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle stemming from a December 3rd collision in Laurentian Hills. He will be back in court next week.
