It's Save the Ross Museum Round Two this evening in the Mayor's chamber at Whitewater Region Township Office. Mayor Hal Johnson says a meeting last month was aimed at attracting more volunteers to augment a retiring contingent of four who run and manage the facility. It turns out the problem is in the word "manage".

The Mayor says it isn't as difficult to find residents interesting in volunteering their time, as it is to convince a candidate that they will have to jump through all kinds of hoops like background checks and vouching personal liability, as now demanded by Queen's Park. Johnson says tonight's meeting begins at 6PM, and the option of a new structure, perhaps under the Township's umbrella may come up for discussion.
