VALLEY SCHOOLS FARE WELL AT DESTINATION IMAGINATION

More than a dozen local teams are moving on to the Destination Imagination provincials in April. In fact, 13 teams from eight schools up and down the Valley placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd during the Eastern Ontario Regional competition in Stittsville this past Saturday. Provincials are April 7 in Toronto and teams who place well there move on to compete in Knoxville Tennessee in May. First place finishes went to teams from Queen Elizabeth and Lady of Fatima in Renfrew, Ecole Jeanne Lajoie, Champlain and Bishop Smith in Pembroke, as well as Cobden Public School. Here are the full local results:
