ST. PATRICK'S PARADE TO DRAW THOUSANDS TO DOUGLAS
3/9/2018 10:15:39 AM

Irish week is about to begin and as always, the tiny Ottawa Valley town of Douglas is ground zero. The Douglas St. Patrick's Parade kicks things off tomorrow (Saturday) at 7 p.m. Preston Cull is one of the volunteers who makes the parade happen annually, and he says it's a huge event.

All week long, there are events at the Douglas Tavern and this Sunday, there is an Irish Breakfast at Zion United Church Hall at 9am. Other events throughout the week include Irish music, Irish trivia and an Irish wing and pub night. For a full list of events and times, check out our community calendar.
