CRIME OF THE WEEK: LAPTOP STOLEN FROM OFFICE

Upper Ottawa Valley OPP are hoping that someone can help them solve a theft in Pembroke. Police say that sometime between 4 p.m. on April 3 and 8 a.m. on April 4, someone stole a black and silver HP laptop from the Mental Health Services office on Albert Street. A locked cabinet was broken into and the laptop, charging cord and mouse were stolen. If you have information on this crime, you're being asked to contact Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime stoppers at 613-735-8477, toll free at 1-800-222-8477 or online at valleytips.ca. All calls to crime stoppers remain anonymous and if your tip leads to charges being laid, you could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
