RESIDENTS INVITED TO SIGN BANNER FOR HUMBOLDT
4/10/2018 2:14:45 PM

The City of Pembroke, the Pembroke Mall and the Pembroke Lumber Kings are teaming up to show their support for the Humboldt Broncos. A banner has been created a banner for the community to come and sign it and share their condolences with the town of Humboldt. The banner, which will be on display at the mall between now and Sunday, will then be mailed off to Humboldt next week. When asked about the crash that killed 15 players and coaches last Friday, Owner and Head Coach of the Pembroke Lumber Kings Dale McTavish says it's hard to even put into words what the team and the community must be going through.

Prior to the full day of hockey action on Saturday for the Lumber Kings spring evaluation camp, the players taking part in the first game observed a moment of silence to honour those lives lost and to think of those who survived.
