4/11/2018 2:30:54 PM

The cause of a fire on Holmes Road in Admaston Bromley is still unknown. Fire officials were called to the home shortly after 6 o'clock last night (Tuesday) and Fire Chief Kevin Van Woezik says when they arrived, the Granny Suite of the house was fully engulfed in flames and threatening to spread.

No one was in the home at the time, though one tenant was working on a car in the garage. Van Woezik did confirm there were animals in the home that couldn't escape the fire and were killed. He says the fire does not appear t suspicious but he's unable to determine the exact cause of the fire at this time. The Office of the Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate.
