MEETING SATURDAY TO DISCUSS TRAILER USE, WATER QUALITY AT LAKE CLEAR
6/8/2018 12:58:09 PM

It's been the topic of 66 submissions to Bonnechere Valley Township Office, and on Saturday there is a public forum to discuss the use of RVs and trailers on Lake Clear. In advance of all of that, a Ministry of the Environment spokesperson appeared at the Township Council meeting Tuesday. Victor Castro says Lake Clear is still true to its name, but it is at risk.

The Surface Water Scientist with the MOE's Eastern Region notes two former RV parks no longer function at Lake Clear, and it's up to the Township to keep it that way. The public meeting begins at 10 am Saturday at the Eagle's Nest.
