7/6/2018 8:33:18 AM

A barn fire Monday on Stone Road in Admaston-Bromley Township saw the vacant structure destroyed. Mayor Michael Donohue, who witnessed the blaze, went to the scene with bottled water for firefighters battling it in sweltering heat. He praises the quick response from all firefighters concerned.

Donohue tells myFM the barn was used for storage, and housed a woodshop.

The Township has since declared a burn ban. The heat and lack of rain has created very dry conditions.
