An official unveiling of the newly installed Pride Crosswalk in downtown Pembroke is happening this morning. The crosswalk was first painted at the end of May by unfortunately the paint did not withstand the traffic. Thanks to great support from the community the Pembroke Business Improvement Area and Pembroke Pride worked together to have it re-designed and re-painted with more durable paint on Thursday (August 15th) last week. The photo opportunity for the new pride cross-walk will take place at 10:00 am at the intersection of Albert Street and Pembroke Street West beside Scotiabank.
