Fire Prevention Week is happening between October 6th and 12th and the Pembroke Fire Department will be hosting a number of community events during that time. This year’s theme is “Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan and Practice Your Escape”. Pembroke Fire Chief Dan Herback says it’ll be a busy week.
