
It’s the Holiday Season, and here’s your guide to what’s open and what’s closed in Pembroke.
Both Christmas and Boxing Day are statutory holidays in Ontario, meaning all government agencies and services are shut down December 25th and 26th.
Banks, Credit Unions and Financial Institutions are also closed Christmas and Boxing Day, and most branches have early closings in effect today, Tuesday.
Individual branches will be closing early, but those hours are dependent on your local institution, so please call ahead if you’re needing more than a bank machine.
Many of us enjoy a cold beer or cider to help festivities along.
The Beer Stores in Pembroke, Renfrew and Arnprior will close at 6PM this evening and they will not reopen until their customary hours of operation Friday.
LCBO stores will close at 6PM tonight according to information posted on the web.
They will be closed Christmas Day at locations in Pembroke, Renfrew and Arnprior.
LCBOs will OPEN on Boxing day, 9AM to 9PM.
Grocery Stores have posted holiday hours on their store fronts.
Moncion Metro closes this evening at 6PM, and is open Boxing Day 9AM to 6PM.
Steven and Julie’s No Frills closes this afternoon at 4PM and is open Boxing Day 10AM to 2PM.
Food Basics closes this evening at 6PM and will remain open on Boxing Day until 5PM.
Walmart in Pembroke closes this evening at 6PM, and is open Boxing Day from 6AM to 11PM.
The Pembroke Mall closes this evening at 5PM and will be open Boxing Day from 10AM to 5PM.
The West End Mall closes this evening at 5PM and opens Boxing Day from Noon until 5PM.
In Pembroke, collection slated for Christmas Day will happen on Boxing Day (Thursday) of this week.
