It was another big week for ticket sales for the Deep River and District Hospital Foundation’s Catch the Ace lottery. Sales jumped from 1,969 to 2,548 tickets sold, likely one of the largest week-over-week gains in ticket sales the Foundation has experienced with this fundraiser. The holder of the winning ticket selected from the rotary drum was Margaret Broome of Cobden. She picked up her ticket from the East End Mall in Pembroke on Wednesday. Margaret chose Envelope 17 which had the King of Clubs and she will take home $2,548. After two weeks, the hospital foundation has banked $10,000. Next week, the holder of the ticket drawn could win $12,500 if the Ace of Spades shows up. The Week 3 Draw takes place at Longshots Sports Cafe in Deep River next Thursday at 8pm. Information on where tickets can be purchased is available on the Deep River and District Hospital Foundation website.
