The City of Pembroke will host a Pro Rodeo event in the spring. Producer of the Rodeo Shawn Fisher says it’s part of the Gold Buckle Series and will feature international competitors from North America, Brazil and Australia. Fisher says part of the proceeds will support the Soldier On program.
Fisher says the PMC says holds 2,000 people and it would be nice to have the place sold out. He adds the rodeo will feature some bare back riding, bronc riding, barrel racing, team roping, steer wrestling, bull riding and more. Fisher says the Pro Rodeo starts at 7:30 pm on May 1st and May 2nd and tickets are available at a number of local businesses and online by following Black Creek Rodeo on social media.
