The Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board says levels are expected to go up in the next few days, but will remain below flood thresholds in all locations. The board says the Ottawa River is expected to remain fairly stable over the next few days and be close to normal for this time of year.
Water levels and flows on the lower reach of the Ottawa River from Lake Deschenes to the Montreal Region are expected to increase gradually over the next few days in response to precipitation received, however northern reservoirs are emptied and ready to retain snowmelt runoff.
