The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP and County of Renfrew paramedics were called to the waterfront in Pembroke this morning (May 26th). OPP Detachment Commander, Inspector Stephan Neufeld, says officers were called to the Pembroke Marina after a male had fallen into the water. Neufeld says quick action was taken by witnesses passing by and they were able to pull the individual from the water. The male was transported to the Pembroke Regional Hospital by ambulance where they are currently being treated. The detachment commander says there’s no police concerns or suspicious activity surrounding the incident.
