The situation with the Pembroke Marina is complicated- but here’s a recap.
Work which was contracted to be done by the federal government was delayed by the Provincial Emergency Order, but construction is now back on track- it’s just not finished yet.
The boat launch is open and will be free of charge while the marina is closed.
The City is able to advice that the service dock providing gas and pump-outs for boaters will be fully operational as of Friday, June 5th at Noon.
As of that date the regular fees of $6.99 + HST for a daily launch or $70.40 + HST for a seasonal launch will be in place.
City of Pembroke staff is working hard to have all docks installed and ready for use as soon as possible, but cannot yet provide a guaranteed date for this.
For an initial period, water and electrical services at the docks remain off-line due to ongoing construction.
And one final note: Public health measures will be in place for the protection of staff and the boating public.
