Local COVID-19 assessment centres are available for residents who want to get tested.
In Renfrew County if you want to get tested you are asked to call the Renfrew County Virtual Triage and Assessment Centre (RCVTAC) at 1-844-727-6404 and you will be directed to a nearby drive-thru swabbing clinic.
- In Pembroke residents can attend the county building at 7 International Drive on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
- The Civic Centre in Petawawa is home to another assessment centre on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:00am to 11:00am.
- The assessment centre in Deep River is located at 2 Club House Road and is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
- The assessment centre in Eganville is open the same time as the one in Deep River and is located at 178 Jane Street. (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.)
- In Renfrew residents can attend Ma-te-way on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
- In Arnprior the assessment centres are open the same time as Renfrew and located at 77 James Street. (Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm)
- Cobden has an assessment centre at the fair grounds on Astrolabe Road from 9:00am to 11:00am.
- Those in the Eganville can attend an assessment centre at 178 Jane Street on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
- For anyone in the Barry’s Bay area, the assessment centre is at the arena on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
- In Almonte an assessment centre is open by appointment only. Residents are asked to contact their primary care provider or the health unit (1-800-660-5853 ext. 2499) where they will be referred to the brick building behind Almonte General Hospital Emergency Department on the corner of Spring Street and State Street.
