The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP has pulled a body from the Ottawa River in Pembroke.
Police attended a home on Mountainview Drive in Pembroke this morning (June 17th) to investigate something suspicious in the water.
An update provided to myFM this afternoon by the OPP detachment commander, Inspector Stephen Neufeld, confirms that a body was pulled from the river.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted to confirm the identity of the individual and to determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
