The Town of Petawawa Fire Department used 7,000 gallons of water and 1,600 feet of hose this week to bring a wildfire under control.
Crews had the fire under control Tuesday (July 7th) morning at the corner of Water Tower Road and Industrial Avenue.
The local fire department is reminding parents to speak to their children about the dangers of fire and how fires can cause significant damage and serious injuries.
Residents are reminded to never leave fires unattended and take all the proper precautions including making sure you have a permit before lighting a fire.
