
The Northern Tornadoes Project has made a preliminary determination that the damage caused last weekend in Pembroke and Laurentian Valley was caused by an EF0 tornado with max wind speeds of 125 kilometers per hour.
The Northern Tornadoes Project says further details will be made available once clear-sky satellite images are obtained and analyzed.
The storm hit the Drive-In Road area in Laurentian Valley on Sunday, September 13th around 3:00pm, damaging roughly 20 homes and knocking power out to over 200 customers in the area.
