Public Wifi could be coming to the downtown Pembroke area. Under the direction of city council, Ottawa River Energy Solutions is looking into obtaining public wifi for open spaces at Riverside Park, Waterfront and possibly Shamrock Park. ORES will be providing council with a report and estimated costs. If council wishes to pursue the idea further, costs would be added to the budget for 2021 for consideration.
