The OPP is investigating after a vechicle struck a pedestrian in Pembroke and failed to remain at the scene.
The incident took place around 3:00pm on Wednesday (September 30th) on MacKay Street near Irving Street.
Police say a maroon Honda passenger vehicle struck the pedestrian and was last seen turning down Dunlop Street.
The car sustained drivers side damage and is described as having roof racks, one of which was left at the scene.
The OPP is reaching out to the public for help indentifying the vehicle and driver.
The pedestrian, a 66 year old Pembroke resident, was taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
A section of MacKay Street was closed for approximately three hours as a result of this incident.
