Day 4 of the Kirby trial continues at the Pembroke courthouse today.
The accused, William or “Bill” Kirby was arrested after an incident in September of 2018 that left a woman in critical condition in a wooded area of McNab Braeside.
Following a police investigation the accused was charged with attempted murder along with multiple counts of assault including sexual assault.
Back in January a judge ruled to separate the historic sexual assault assault charges and more recent attempted murder charges.
This morning a doctor of one of the victims was questioned about appointments dating back to the 1990’s.
Kirby will take the stand this afternoon with another day in court planned tomorrow.
