You don’t have to go far looking for marijuana in Pembroke.
The City of Pembroke held a ribbon cutting ceremony at Kushys last week. Kushys is located at 100 Pembroke Street West in the same plaza as Tim Hortons and East Side Mario’s. An application for a second Kushy’s location in Petawawa is currently under review from the province.
There’s currently five retail cannabis stores open and operating in Pembroke and Laurentian Valley (all along Pembroke Street East and West). An application for a sixth legal pot shop in Pembroke is currently under review.
Other cannabis stores in the Pembroke area include OVCS, Prairie and Luna, Collective Growers and Valley Cannabis. Prairie and Luna also has an application in for a second location in the Town of Petawawa.
Applications are also under review for similar stores in Deep River, Renfrew and Arnprior.
