The Town of Petawawa is starting to reopen.
The Petawawa Public Library will open tomorrow (Wednesday, February 10th, 2021) at 10:00 am. Details on their services and programs can be found on their website.
The Community Services Department office and Civic Centre will open on Thursday (February 11th, 2021). Facility rentals can be scheduled by contacting the Department via email at bookings@petawawa.ca.
The Scentral Bark Off-Leash Dog Park will also re-open for public use.
The outdoor rink, located behind the OPP station, remains open to the public and pickup hockey will be permitted, as per the schedule posted at the facility and on the municipal website.
Public skating is available at scheduled times throughout the day to accommodate all ice users.
The Council meeting on Tuesday, February 16th will still be conducted virtually, but meetings after will be in-person observing all health and safety protocols.
Mayor Bob Sweet says we must continue to adhere to public health guidelines, restrict our outings and limit our contacts.
