The OPP has arrested and laid several charges following an investigation into debris found on Highway 17.
Police have arrested 21-year-old Joshua Patrick Boyce of Bonnechere Valley.
The accused is charged with two counts of mischief endangering life, theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
The OPP made the arrest this afternoon (February 25th, 2021).
The accused will be held for a bail hearing tomorrow (February 26th) in Pembroke.
The first incident was reported by the Renfrew OPP in January and involved rocks slightly larger than basketballs that were found on the Highway near Logo’s Land in Whitewater Region.
Other incidents included vehicle rims placed on the travelled portion of the highway and a hot water tank and water softener tank were both found on the shoulder of Highway 17.
