Raymond Butterworth passed away peacefully to be reunited with his beloved Elsa on Sunday, March 14th, 2021, in his 84th year at the Pembroke Regional Hospital.
Raymond Butterworth of Pembroke, loving and devoted husband to the late Elsa Butterworth (nee Dermann). Caring and dedicated father of Doris, Michael, Robert, Susan and Angeline. Grandfather to David and great-grandfather to Lucas. Predeceased by his mother Vera Butterworth and his special aunt Doris Gilvear.
Raymond served faithfully and loyally for 26 years with the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery (RCHA), as well as over 30 years with Butler Chev Olds in Pembroke.
Respecting Raymond’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place in the spring at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Ontario SPCA would be appreciated.
