The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is reporting a COVID-19 outbreak at Arnprior Aerospace. The health unit declared the outbreak after four employees who have tested positive for the virus with the potential for more cases to follow. The workplace exposure took place over the course of three days last week and all staff who have been deemed to be a close contact of a positive case were given direction to go home immediately, self-isolate and to arrange for testing. Nine new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in RCD yesterday, meaning there are currently 49 active cases.
