Laurentian Valley is looking for input on the the township parks and recreation master plan.
If you would like to offer input on the future of recreational services, you’re asked to submit your feedback by August 6th, 2021 .
Laurentian Valley is undertaking its first Parks and Recreation Master Plan, to provide a 10-year action plan for leisure services.
The plan will help prepare a vision and recommendations for all aspects of parks and recreation in Laurentian Valley including parkland, park design, trail types and locations, natural areas, sports fields, play areas, courts, outdoor rinks, community gardens, Forest Lea Park, Pleasant View Park, Stafford Park, Shady Nook Recreation Centre, Alice and Fraser Recreation Centre, recreation programs and joint recreation partnerships with the City of Pembroke.
A draft plan will be presented to the community for review once complete.
Suggestions can be submitted online, paper copies of the survey are available at the Township of Laurentian Valley office (460 Witt Road), or you also get the survey by scanning the QR code below with your mobile device:
