Holly Molenaar from the OV Boss Babes podcast highlights local women in the community.
In addition being a career woman and hosting the podcast on the side, she’s an executive assistant at a nonprofit organization, a wife and a mother to a 16-month-old.
Holly says it’s empowering to hear all the stories from the entrepreneurs and business women she has interviewed.
She says the podcast brings awareness to female owned businesses and provides an inside look at how they’ve succeeded in small towns and adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Some of her favourite interviews are with Val Hyska, the owner of Hyska’s Your Independent Grocer and Shannon Slaughter, the General Manager at Pembroke Hyundai.
Holly says these “Boss Babes” have achieved success working in male dominated industries.
