After almost a year and a half, the laboratory at the Deep River and District Hospital will resume accepting walk-in patients on August 30th.
Availability has been appointment based since March of 2020 in order to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
Those who have a requisition for blood from a registered clinician can attend the lab between the hours of 7:30am and 12:00pm from Monday to Friday.
Previously scheduled appointments for blood work after August 30th will be honoured.
Walk-in patients may experience short delays if staff are required to perform urgent work in the Emergency Department or on the Medical Unit
Pre-booked appointments are still required for Diagnostic Imaging services at the Deep River and District Hospital, including X-Rays, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
All patients coming to the organization will continue to enter and exit the building through the
Main Entrance and screening station.
