The City of Pembroke is holding a Spooky Movie Night at the Skylight Drive-In.
The FREE event will take place October 16th with gates opening at 5:00pm.
The first movie will start at 6:30pm and the the second movie will begin around 8:30pm.
The two spooky movies are Hotel Transylvania followed-by Goosebumps.
Tickets are required per carload for this event so get them before they are gone.
There will be free treat bags for children in attendance, popcorn vouchers to the first 400 people through the gates, and a costume contest with prizes for the best family, youth and adult costumes.
The Skylight Drive-in is permitting sitting outside of your vehicle in a lawn chair as well as sitting in the back of your truck/van/SUV, as long as everyone is able to maintain a distance of 2 meters from other movie goers.
Masks must be worn if you are entering the building for the Snack Bar or the washroom.
In addition to the Halloween festivities we will also be accepting monetary donations to the St. Joseph’s Food Bank.
Those looking to participate in the costume contest will be required to meet before the first movie starts.
Judging will take place at 6:00pm by the playground.
Mayor Bennett from Laurentian Valley and Deputy Mayor Gervais from the City of Pembroke will be judging the costume contest.
